REVIVAL reaches back into the fertile Southern stomping grounds of The Allman Brothers Band to create an unparalleled music experience. Boasting two of the region's finest touring guitarists, Lefty Williams (Lefty Williams Band, Nothing Simple, Wayside Riders) and Benji Shanks (Last Waltz, Captain Soularcat, Outformation), REVIVAL delivers Allman Brothers classics with respect, dignity, energy and soul.
With Ron Roper (Derek Trucks Band) on vocals and keys, Steve Sanders (Lefty Williams Band, Escape Vehicle, Mr. Scheme) and Preston Holcomb (The Grapes, Wayside Riders) on drums. REVIVAL evokes the memories and music of a generation and is committed to recreating the brotherhood and spirit of the legendary Allman Brothers Band.
Opening act - Nothing and the Nobodies
Chattanooga, TN-based Nothing & the Nobodies began in 2007, however the three main members started playing music together as high schoolers in the early 90's. Guitarist Eddie Howard, drummer Mike Kelley & bassist Tim Williams join up for an eclectic stream of music which transcends classic & modern rock along with the modern jam band movement. They've played music festivals, such as Riverbend & the Keel Family Function along with live performances in the Southeast. They are currently in the studio, working on their debut recording, with a late 2011 release date.
